That's Right, Boys and Girls

So, today I got a haircut. It's been a while. I would actually call it a trim because not much was really cut off. I was happy to have the cut because I've been needing it for at least two months. Anyway, it was such a drastic difference from my split-ended mess, that I thought that I could do the Pantene commercial hair flip.

I was wrong. I had such a hard time successfully capturing the flip on camera. The best one ended up being this one:

I thought that it was funny because I look like I'm doing some sort of country line dance, instead of flipping my hair. This corresponded with the bumper sticker that I saw on the back of a truck today: "Honk if you like honky tonk." Whatever that means... What does that mean? ...looking it up... Oh. This is what it means. So, it really goes along with my hair flip. Give me a belt buckle. I decided to add it as my profile picture, just to spice things up a bit.

Well, I decided that the hair flipping shots weren't working because perhaps I was too far away from the camera, so I took a close up shot:

Hmmm... I'm not sure that one worked, either. Really! Look at it! What is up with my hair?

You know what would be really cool? It would be cool if I could ever get my hair to look as nice as the hair stylist does. That would be cool. But until then, I'll be country line dancin' at the honky-tonk. See you later!

Your hair looks great. I thought it did before the haircut, too. I could never even attempt the Pantene flip because the 25 hairs on my head don't get enough momentum to go anywhere.

By the way, how did you get the living room couch fabric to look so great as background on your blog? You are brilliant.

Thanks for saying I'm brilliant. I'm pretty excited about some of the cool backgrounds that I'm going to have in the future. I went around taking pictures of the house yesterday because the light was hitting everything so perfectly and I realized that I want a virtual tour of the house for posterity. I had to do some supreme photo-shopage for the background of the blog because it wasn't so straight. Oh well.

Thanks for the compliments about the hair. When I see you next weekend, you'll probably notice a difference.

oooh, your hair looks nice. Did you scan your couch material for the background plaid or something? I like it. I love plaid. I wish I had a plaid, pleated skirt. Thats all.

oh. I just read the other comments about the plaid. Hmm. Question answered!

I love love love these pictures of you! So good for those of us who wouldn't know you from Adam if I were to run into you on USU campus.

I am jealous of your long hair.

Very.

That's so funny. I actually don't go to USU or SUU, but that's okay. I appreciate the comments about the hair. What can I say? My hair stylist is AWESOME!
