Well, I figure that I should blog every once in a while, just so you know that I am alive and breathing. I am alive and breathing.
I have decided (thanks for contributing to the poll) that I will do basically two weeks of no sweets this year. I will commence on April Fool's Day and terminate on the 16th. Thanks to all of the people who love me just the way I am. That was warm and fuzzy. Anyway, I am preparing for no sweets fortnight by throwing down some girl scout cookies. They are delightful. I am currently working on a box of Samoas. Delicious! A word to the wise: don't look at the nutrition information when you eat them. It might make you feel nervous about eating very many.
Um... yeah... so ... not much else is going on for me. I get up. I work. I eat. I go to bed. And sometimes I cram other miscellaneous activities in there, like volleyball.
So... um hm. Yep. I gotcha. Er. Gah.

Well, I always appreciate your comments on my blog so I was pretty sure you were still alive, but welcome back to your own blog!! MMmm Samoas, yeah I already scarfed a box of those down a couple weeks ago. So good.
Enjoy those Samoas, my girl scout cookie weakness is just Thin Mints, none of the other flavors really call out to me. My husband is fond of any kind with peanut butter.
I like the cherries in the background on your site, very fun!
I didn't get the opportunity to buy girl scout cookies this year - thank heavens! They are so overpriced...and so delicious! I like Samoas, too, and the peanut butter cookies. Mmmmm.
Good luck with your no sweets fortnight!
Glad you're alive and breathing.
Loved the last line of this post. :)
Cassie - I love reading your blog. And your cakes... YOUR CAKES!!!
Thanks, Jill. I know I need to fix them, but I just haven't gotten around to it yet.
Julie - Thanks. I really, really didn't know what to say. :)
yay, you're alive. And thanks for the cookies by the way. Sarah didn't eat them, and they are quite good. But...only one box?!
Just kidding.
What? Sarah didn't eat them? That's crazy! You were supposed to eat them together. And talk about how wonderful I am while you ate them. Ah well. Enjoy them!
Ah, Volleyball, I kinda miss that game. What am I saying, I miss all games that I no longer play. I love owning a house, but does it have to prevent you from having fun. Well, I guess if you want it looking good, you do!
I know what you mean, Sean. It's so stressful to have additional responsibilities sometimes.
Probably between the somoan cookies and the volley ball, there has been a lot of taxes to prepare.
Samoas and thin mints are the best.
Samosas . . . well, well few things taste better :)
