Tell Me You Love My Kitchen

Tell me you love this cupcake.

Behold, it is evidence of a maple bacon flavored cupcake!

Cash, Tino, and I took a trip to Las Vegas last week, and I just had to stop by Retro Bakery and try their goods. I was alerted to their awesomeness via Jill, a high school classmate who I cyber stalk. If you haven't seen their cupcakes, then I should warn you before you go to the site. You will become hungry instantly and have desires to visit the bakery. I know from experience.

Anyway, the maple bacon cupcake was good. I do love bacon, and it was good (and a must-try), but I think that other flavors are more pleasing to me in cupcake form. Such as the pink lemonade cupcake. I thought it was so delightful! Cash got an Oreo cupcake, which I tried and was good, and Tino ended up getting the raspberry cheesecake-flavored cupcake. He really liked it. I guess it's their flavor of the month. Anyway. This isn't an advertisement. It is more like me blubbering over the fact that I finally got to try the cupcakes and loved them! It's a recommendation, I guess. ...if you're a cupcake kind of person (and I am).

Now tell me that you love my kitchen.

It doesn't have much in it as far as cooking supplies go, but I already L.O.V.E. it. It's an acronym. Figure it out yourself.

What color is your kitchen, again?

At least the appliances aren't brown. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain. I mean, pay no attention to the fact that the. entire. house. is. brown.

I so wish the builders would have been doing the bar thing (countertops, not drinking facilities) when ours was built. I love your kitchen. I love the dark tile! Jealous.....even though mine looks a lot like yours.

P.S. No offense, but maple bacon flavored cupcake? Ew. I'd definitely stick with no meat flavoring in my cupcake. Sorry. :)

I love your kitchen! I wish I had one of my own that was so nice. I also can't wait to get to Vegas now to try those cupcakes. I thought about you in R.S. today and was wishing you were sitting with me.

That is a beautiful new fridge. I'd like to see a close-up picture of it (close enough so that I can read what's on the white board).

That will be an excellent kitchen for making Thanksgiving pies. Can't hardly wait!

The bacon cupcake sparked a large debate at my work last week about mixing meat with sweet things. The general consensus was that it wasn't a good idea, but I think it's clever even if it's not as tasty as the cookies and cream cupcake.

Dub, the whiteboard is all in code. Tino checked.

I'd really like to try that cupcake (and several others). Cupcakes!!! Yummy!

I really like your kitchen, too. And, now that I'm officially a Pampered Chef consultant (woohoo!), I'll be happy to help you fill your kitchen with tons of fun stuff. *cheesy grin*

Sarah,
Funny, funny!
You were the only one who guessed the acronym. I hope that last one is not the theme Cardine takes when serving guests.

Licking out vanilla eclairs.

Thanks for guessing, you guys! Very funny.

Also, the kitchen is much more full now, thanks to the stuff from banana's garden. Also, I put my TV and a DVD player in there so I could have something going on while I cook. :)
