Weird Stuff on TPIR

So... I've been watching The Price Is Right lately. If I had TV and if I had a DVR or Tivo, I would record The Price Is Right. But since I don't have it, I watch it online. (I would also save Jeopardy! and maybe, maybe The Wheel of Fortune.) Anyway, sometimes they have strange prizes on the show. And I decided that every so often I am going to post them here. Why? Because I want to share the oddness with you, my readers.

So, here we go:

Darth Vadar Alarm Clock, $42

Really? They made a Darth Vadar alarm clock? And it's $42? Would you buy it? Would you?

My boys would love that, even my husband. No, I would not spend that much money on something like. However my husband would. I hope you have a good week.

Um, no. I would not buy it.

But I would laugh really hard if I ever received it as a white elephant gift.

(Can you imagine turning over in the middle of the night and encountering that on your nightstand? Ack!)

I for sure wouldn't. But you can watch TPIR online? That is awesome. Where do you watch it? I would love to check that out. I have tivo, but I never thought to record that, but I loved that show when I was younger. I haven't watched it since Bob Barker left the show so I don't know how I would feel about Drew Carey.

Ruth - Well, I guess if you don't know what to get your husband for Christmas...

dub - And it has various soundbytes. Maybe you could wake up to the heavy Darth breathing. That wouldn't be a rude awakening, would it?

Cassie - It's on cbs.com. I didn't realize they had it until a few weeks ago. Also, I actually love, love, love Drew Carey. He cracks me up.

I watch TPIR when I'm sick at home sometimes. Drew Carey's funny when he slyly makes fun of some of the prizes.

I can't decide if my boys would love that or be scared to death waking up to numbers staring out of Darth Vader's eyes. Crazy prize for an adult, however. Just plain weird.

I do like it, and would have seriously considered buying it when I was younger and single. I did have a lava lamp ad a model skull with red candle wax melted down it when I was in my early twenties so.....

Did anyone come close to guessing the correct price? $47 seems a little pricey to me but then again TPIR always seems to be above Kentucky average prices.
